Public Camp Sites
There are eight public camp sites in the eastern half of the property on the highest part, where the ground is fairly flat which are suitable for under-canvas tent-style camping only. NO CARAVANS are allowed by Council Regulations. Access to the dam, from the camping area, is provided by a track to the north-east, for fishing, boating and skiing.
On arrival, fees must be paid to the Caretaker, and must cover the duration of stay.
The Manor
This is a large high-set house, available for hire, by prior arrangement only. It is suitable for small conferences. It will accommodate 40 persons and the maximum capacity of the whole site is 100 persons.

Important Information
Use of Maroon Dam is at campers own risk. No liability is accepted by MEC or SEQWater for campers own actions. If blue-green algae level is Medium or High water contact with the body is not advisable. When the dam water level is low, water skiing is not advisable as dangerous snags may be just below the water line. (Levels can be obtained from SEQWater Storage Summary Maroon Dam for the latest water levels. The data on Blue-green Algae levels is currently not available from SEQWater.
