The Roscoe Library
The Roscoe Library is the theological library of St. Francis Theological College and exists to resource the educational and research needs of this vibrant scholarly community, as well as the needs of the lay leadership and serving clergy of the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane.
Roscoe resources your needs by growing strong multi-format collections in all aspects of theology and ministry, forging strong ecumenical links with sister institutions in the Brisbane College of Theology (BCT), and providing a range of research and training services.

Reciprocal Borrowing
Reciprocal borrowing between all three BCT libraries is available to students enrolled through any member school of the BCT.
You will need to present your BCT student ID card and proof of enrolment to activate membership of ACU, Banyo Campus.
Who may borrow?
- Full-time and part-time students enrolled through any one of the 3 BCT member schools (no charge)
- Research Higher Degree students supervised by St Francis' faculty (no charge)
- Anglican Clergy and stipendiary lay ministers of the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane (no charge)
- Others, by arrangement with the Librarian ($50 annual fee)
About the Library
As a member of the Brisbane College of Theology (BCT), Roscoe Library enjoys consortial, joint collection development, and reciprocal borrowing arrangements with sister libraries Trinity Theological College (Uniting Church) and St Paul's Theological Seminary (Roman Catholic) that ensure the widest possible access to relevant theological resources. All three Libraries support the undergraduate and postgraduate programme of the BCT with a specific collection emphasis on their own denominational traditions.
Roscoe Library is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Theological Libraries Association (ANZTLA) and the Australian Interlibrary Resource Sharing (AIRS) network.
