Ordination
Ordained ministry is a particular and specialised calling within the wider ministries of the Church. The journey to ordination in the Anglican tradition involves not only specialist skills and academic development but also a personal and professional Formation of the spirituality and character needed for ministry as clergy.
The selection of suitable people both for training and for ordination is termed Discernment and this important task is shared with the candidate and a number of skilled and highly qualified clergy and laity, supervised by the Archbishop.
Individuals wishing to further explore ordained ministry are encouraged to visit the St Francis' Theological College Website
