Calling and Vocation BBQs

Sometimes it seems like it would be easier if God's call was bellowing from the sky letting us know exactly what it is we should do or be.  God's call, however, is rarely that simple.

Uncovering this vocation is called discernment and involves reflection, study, prayer, and the advice and support of our faith communities.

The 'Calling and Vocation BBQs' are regular informal evenings to help your ongoing discernment of God’s call, whether it be lay or ordained, professional or volunteer, global or local.

By hearing other people's stories and by spending time with other seekers you can experience the process of discovering your vocation in an open and supportive environment.
